What We Do

Background
Southeastern Utah Energy Producers Association (SEUEPA) is comprised of a wide group of companies involved in coal and other mining, oil/gas production, power generation, energy transportation, energy support vendors, academia, and government agencies. We support businesses as well as government, academia and private professional groups. Our board of directors includes key leaders from each facet of the major energy industries. We aggressively promote economic development in an effort to create well paying jobs in Southeastern Utah. When asked to participate, we assist our members in any way possible to bring new projects to fruition.

Scholarships
Each year SEUEPA donates money for scholarships to local students pursuing energy related careers. Click here to learn more about scholarships donated by SEUEPA.

Training & Education
SEUEPA partners with the College of Eastern Utah's Western Energy Training Center (WETC) to help the industrial workforce develop the skills and technical expertise needed for the 21st century and the growing demand for energy industry workers. The training center provides a wide variety of safety and operational training, both initial and refresher training, for the mining, oil and gas, power generation, transportation and energy service industries. The center has been open since 2006 and has trained over 15,000 individuals. Members of SEUEPA are entitled to discounted training and services at the Western Energy Training Center.
